Relationship Banker
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for processing various customer transactions; such as but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Provide timely service and efficiently complete customer’s transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper cash handling. A Relationship Banker is also responsible for greeting all customers and providing exceptional customer service at all times. This position will also encompass a wide variety of tasks including opening new savings and checking accounts, CDs and IRAs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process customer transactions such as checking or savings deposits, check cashing and checking or savings withdrawals.
- Process customer loan payments.
- Selling money orders and official bank checks.
- Redeeming U.S. savings bonds.
- Process cash advances on credit cards.
- Ensure that all customers present the correct identification and that all signatures match the ID.
- Balance the ATM and replenish the cash and supplies in the ATM under dual control.
- Balance the Vault under dual control.
- Identify banking services to the needs of customers and answer customer inquiries. Refer customer questions and/or requests to the appropriate department. Accurately complete the required forms for the various banking services offered.
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to required cash drawer limits.
- Balance coin machine daily and empty full bags from coin machine
- Provide quality customer service at all times.
- Attend appropriate training sessions as required and complete regulatory compliance training in a timely manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to gather information and solve problems.
- Prepare records for storage. Ensure proper record retention and destruction guidelines are followed.
- Meet the BSA/AML and OFAC requirements as outlined in the following:

- Customer Identification Program (CIP)
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In addition to the typical requirements of standing, walking, sitting, bending, talking, hearing, and seeing, the employee must regularly use hands, to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and keyboards. Additional physical requirements include climbing stairs and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.

Operations Support
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing efficient, effective service and administration relevant to the Electronic Banking functions. These functions include online banking, mobile banking, ACH processing including stop payments, unauthorized transactions, death notifications and reclamations, card ordering (personalized, mail orders, instant issue), mobile deposit review, return check processing, cash items, fraud monitoring for debits cards, process adjustments for debit cards, review daily reports, subsequent check review, telephone banking, Check 21 issues, and transfer management (totalmatics).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
ATM/Debit Card
- Answer customer and coworker questions and investigate and resolve problems and complaints involving ATM/debit cards.
- Order ATM/debit cards.
- Evaluate customer requests for changes in card limits.
- Perform maintenance on card processor system for name changes, address changes, and/or phone number changes, closed accounts per report from HCSB report system, status cards when account goes negative, and adjust card limits on a daily basis.
- Review debit card automatic renewals.
- Initiate the posting of fee(s) for automatic renewals, new issues, and reissues to customer’s account(s).
- Manage adjustments and adjustment account.
- Research ATM outages, if applicable.
- Receive e-mail alerts from Visa for any compromised debit cards.
Internet Banking, Bill Payment, Popmoney, and Mobile Banking
- Set up users for Internet Banking and Bill Payment through the Management Console System, Partner Care System and the Card Management System.
- Delete inactive users on Management Console System and perform the file maintenance on the Card Management System to deactivate account information.
- Perform address changes, name changes, email address changes, phone number changes, and/or account changes to the Management Console System, Partner Care and the Card Management System on a daily basis.
- Maintain and/or monitor cases or customer inquiries reported by customers in Partner Care.
- Answer customer and coworker questions and investigate and resolve problems and complaints involving Internet Banking and Bill Pay.
- Assist with and/or reset customer’s passwords.
- Review checks that were mobile deposited.
ACH and Checks
- Process ACH rejections on a daily basis. This includes, but is not limited to, processing notices, death notifications, stop payments, suspect/unidentified items and unauthorized transactions. This also includes assisting employees and customers with inquiries on these processes, maintaining the appropriate documentation and files, and ensuring compliance with record retention requirements.
- Process DDA rejections on a daily basis. This includes, but is not limited to, processing notices, suspect/unidentified items and stop payments. This also includes assisting employees and customers with inquiries on these processes, maintaining the appropriate documentation and files, and ensuring compliance with record retention requirements.
- Process the Deposit Returns on a daily basis. This includes, but not limited to, processing returned foreign checks and completing and processing notices. This also includes assisting employees and customers with inquiries on this process, maintaining the appropriate documentation and files, and ensuring compliance with record retention requirements.
- Notify the appropriate personnel as outlined in the Check Payment and Overdraft Policy.
- Process the negative DDA account closure postings and perform the appropriate file maintenance.
- Review check kiting report.
- Remit IOLTA on a monthly basis.
Transfer Management
- Process Transfer Management requests. This includes, but is not limited to, recording the transfer on processing system, maintaining the documentation/files, processing exceptions, maintaining the trial balance, ensuring compliance with record retention requirements, and handling all inquiries regarding this function.
Other
- Prepare records for storage. Ensure proper record retention and destruction guidelines are followed.
- Ensure that written procedures for each of the functions listed in this job description are current and correct.
- Provide thorough training to other department employees for each of the functions contained in this job description as requested.
- Provide quality customer service at all times.
- Attend appropriate training sessions as required and complete regulatory compliance training.
