We Will Never Forget 9/11/01

Doesn’t it seem like yesterday that the world changed forever? It’s a day we won’t ever forget. It’s a day, each September 11th, to stop, reflect and honor. That was the purpose of the beautiful Blue Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Weirton Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Noon. Led by Father Dennis Schuelkins, students, teachers, parishioners and community members gathered, with standing room only, to honor local first responders and military men and women in attendance and those everywhere. The touching ceremony culminated with the playing of taps and a 21 gun salute. Tears were shed by some. Appreciation for our heroes was felt by all.
