HCSB makes Book Nook donation

On Thursday, August 6th, 2020 Hancock County Savings Bank made a donation to the book nooks located throughout the town of New Cumberland, WV.

HCSB Employees brought in new and gently used books to help fill the nooks, which were built by Ethan Hurl, a local high school senior. A variety of books were donated from children’s books like “Goodnight Moon” to Sarah Dessen love stories, James Patterson Mysteries, and even a few cook books.

The book nooks run on the honor system. Individuals are encouraged to take a book or two, free of charge, and then donate some of their own books in return; however, donating is not a requirement. If you would like to donate books to the nooks in New Cumberland you may drop off your book donation at the New Cumberland City Building.
