Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. The Christmas spirit is that of love and of giving. It is a time for family, friends, and good will toward all. Hancock County Savings Bank truly embodies the Christmas Spirit and the company enjoys sharing that spirit with employees and customers alike. The bank and staff participates annually in the Salvation Army Bell Ringing, the Angel Tree Program, Lunch with Santa programs, many of the area Christmas Parades, and countless other activities in and around the area. This Holiday season we shared our appreciation for our Customers with a day devoted to them complete with cookies and coffee in the lobby. Our staff has also had a great time this holiday season, participating in an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, Office Door Decorating and Donuts, and have been surprised with boxes of chocolates and beautiful poinsettia red polo shirts to thank them for their dedication. The bank provided a delicious luncheon for the staff at all three of the branches catered by Connie’s Catering with dessert from Frank’s Pastries and Gus’s Goodies. If you happened to be in one of our branches on December 12th you may have even had the opportunity to listen to some beautiful Christmas music performed live in our lobby by the Wheeling Symphony String Quartet. The music was so moving and brought something a little extra to the day for our customers and staff. We at Hancock County Savings Bank hope that you have enjoyed the Holiday Season as much as we have and we would like to Wish you and your Families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
