A Hancock Holiday Poem
The Christmas season is in full swing here at Hancock County Savings Bank! Our very own Liz Hupp, from the Chester office, playfully wrote this delightful poem. The poem highlights an unexpected musical event that recently took place during a HCSB morning staff meeting!
Twas 22 days before Christmas,
when all through the Bank
Not a coin was counting, not even a dime;
Poinsettias were scattered here and there,
In hopes that customers would soon be there;
The Staff was gathered round the tree so bright,
While visions of snowflakes danced in the light.
Now Cathy and her crew knew just what to do
With the new sweatshirts all aglow,
Let’s make a video before we go;
Line up everyone, just like in school
Some on the floor and some hiding behind;
Because we’re going to sing a holiday greeting
So she whistled and shouted and
called them by name
Sing MaryLee! Sing Doug! Sing Alicia,
Christy, and Scott!
We’re looking so good-let’s sing it out
Let’s be merry as……..
We Wish You a Merry Christmas from HCSB!!
